In 2002, the Art Gallery of Ontario put on a major exhibition of French impressionists.  My Toronto dealer at the time
(Peterson Fine Art) asked if I had any ideas on a way to tribute this fabulous show so I thought it might
be interesting to transfer some of Paul Gauguin's Polynesian beauties to contemporary Waikiki.
