Nafea Faa Ipoipo - Hula Dog 

In 2002, the Art Gallery of Ontario put on a major exhibition of French impressionists.  My Toronto dealer 
(Peterson Fine Art) and I wanted to pay tribute to this fabulous show so I decided to update some of Paul
Gauguin's masterpieces to the only Polynesian setting I had any experience of (contemporary Waikiki).
